My Experience with Cetaphil Cleansing Bar

At first, I was so skeptical to use this product, because this cleansing bar is intended for sensitive and dry skin (as stated on the label). I have an oily skin, so this product is not for me. But, my friend keeps telling me that this bar works for his oily and acne prone skin. My friend is actually a good marketer, so I was hypnotized and convinced to try.

Well, maybe he was right, because the first time I used this bar, I felt somewhat soft and gentle. It does not have that stinging feel like with the Cetaphil Liquid Cleanser. Maybe, the Cetyl Alcohol ingredient on the liquid cleanser cause the sting, I guess. It has also a rich creamy lather and baby powder scent, which I like most. It does not also make my skin oily like the Dove bar. And, when I rinsed off my face it does not feel tight, but rather it feels like a baby’s bottom. I really love it! :)

For 2 weeks of using this bar, my acne was at bay and my complexion gets clearer. I will continue to use this bar until it runs out. If this will make me more gorgeous for the next two weeks, I will repurchase it. But, if not, maybe I need to look for another. :)
